Institute's History and Purpose

Founded in 2019, Sehas Institute has been a beacon of knowledge and professional development in the field of Occupational health and safety. Our purpose is to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in their careers and make meaningful contributions to their industries. SEHAS is today the largest Occupational Health and Safety institution in Malawi and the leading source of information and networking opportunities within the Occupational Health and Safety profession in Malawi.

He is an environmental scientist, project management specialist and safety practitioner with industrial experience having worked in different industries as a manager, consultant and a mentor. Mr. Patrick ulele Chikoti, Msc.* Acting Institution Director Chikoti is an expert in professional development with a focus on innovative training methods and curriculum design. He is an innovative leader and manager with more than 15 years combined work experience, having worked in the academics and industry with particular interest in using research in enhancing strategic management and improving systems to conform to ever changing business and organisation needs.
